It has been confirmed, and entries are now open. Worr Motorsport will be hosting a Driver camp this December. Worr will be teaching. Coaching and getting those much-needed miles into each driver that signs up to join the weeklong camp. Race simulations will be led by the top Worriors daily as you learn from the best coaches and technical team in SA.
Race Day Simulation
The Worr Camp will simulate some of the race day procedures of the Rok and Rotax National race days. Each morning, every driver will be subjected to scrutineering, join a driver briefing and havea warm-up session. Our race simulation for experienced drivers will be led out by senior Worr Drivers such as Anele Nzimande, Gianna Pascoal, Troy Snyman and William Marshall. The beginner courses will also be led out by some of our Worriors with special laps planned to ensure an exciting experience for everyone.
Short Classes
We know, we know… It’s holidays and classes are the last thing on your mind. We have planned short, impactful classes for the Worr Camp. Each daily class is 30 minutes long to prepare each driver with the theory they need for the lesson of the day. Lessons cover subjects such as Defensive driving, braking point and driver etiquette. Drivers will also have time to spend with some of our mechanics to find out more about the subject and learn more about their karts.
3 Categories
Worr Camp will be divided into 3 categories: Bambino, Beginner and Expert. The bambino category is for drivers of all experience levels aged 5-10. The Beginner category is for drivers with limited to no experience. This category is open to all ages and Worr will provide the kart and helmet to drivers that do not have equipment available. Expert drivers are junior and senior drivers that have all the equipment available and a mechanic. The camp is open to non-Worr drivers and internationals.
“We want to make sure that the camp is worth attending so we’ve invited more coaches, and our entire Worr performance staff will be there.” Said coach Wes about what he’s planning. He continues “We’re limiting the number of attendees to make sure that we can give each driver the Worr touch.” The Worr Camp has a limited number of seats available so sign up today to reserve your place.
