A Week of Racing Skill Development for Young Drivers

The Worr Motorsport Camp, held from the 15th to the 19th of December 2025, brought together 20 enthusiastic drivers aged 5 to 25 for an unforgettable week of motorsport education and action. Hosted across three premier locations—the Worr Workshop, Vereeniging Karting Circuit, and Kormula K in Benoni—the camp was designed to nurture racing talent and foster a passion for motorsport among South Africa’s youth.

Gianna takes over Bambino's

Day one kicked off at the Worr Workshop, where Gianna Pascoal led the first lesson. Her expertise was especially valuable for the camp’s youngest participants, the bambino drivers, whom she guided through the basics for the rest of Monday. The workshop day concluded at 3pm, after which many attendees visited the Midvaal Raceway to witness the Worr MSA4 car in action and capture memorable photos.

Sasol Sebokeng plays a role

The remainder of the week shifted focus to the track, with drivers honing their race craft under the guidance of experienced coaches. Skills such as overtaking, defensive driving, and track etiquette were emphasised, providing both beginners and more advanced racers with invaluable hands-on experience. Sasol Sebokeng played a crucial role in supporting the camp by sponsoring 2-stroke oil and offering two randomly selected children the opportunity to participate, further enriching the camp’s inclusive spirit.

Throughout the camp, the presence of a dedicated media team ensured that the excitement and achievements were documented and shared, creating lasting memories for all involved. The Worr Motorsport Camp not only provided a platform for skill development but also encouraged camaraderie and a love for motorsport that will inspire these young drivers for years to come.
