Next month, Wian Boshoff jets off to the USA for his first appearance in the USF2000 series. Wian, who earned recognition from Motorsport South Africa for the 2024 karting season will now be doing his first test in USF2000 at NOLA Motorsport Park from the 12th to the 13th of February.
The deal to get Wian on track was a long process for the Worr Team and the Boshoff family. It not only required a solid track performance from SA’s champion but also an incredible amount of planning to get Wian a shot at competing in the International USF2000 Series.
“It’s very exciting to know we have a solid plan for the next 4 years, and the goal is clear. I think we have decided on a different route than most, but Wes believes we’ll thrive in this long term.” Wian states about the opportunity.
He goes on to say “So yes I’m happy and grateful to get this opportunity to put my talent on the track.“
Worr Motorsport provides the necessary support to ensure that a driver thrives. As coach Wes says about this opportunity for Wian, “It’s been a process of planning for us; we have a clear vision and know where we see Wian going in the future. It’s now just a matter of getting him settled in USF2000, and he will produce the results. Our drivers possess the talent; we simply need to ensure they are positioned effectively to succeed.”
Wesleigh adds that USF2000 is providing support for IndyCar, presenting Wian with a significant opportunity to make his mark.
We congratulate Wian for earning the opprtunity to race in USF2000 and wish him the best as we continue to support him until he reaches his dream. From karting the Vereeniging Kart Circuit to the USF2000 in Nola and beyond, Worr is behind you every step of the way.
