finally put African drivers on the global motorsport map

Karting Africa is a dream and an initiative built to finally put African drivers on the global motorsport map.

For too long, talented drivers across the continent have had the ability but not always the opportunity. Our mission is to change that — by giving African drivers a fair chance to compete, develop, and showcase their talent on equal equipment and within a properly structured championship.

Karting Africa is taking a major step forward.

We are proud to announce that TB Kart will be manufacturing our chassis — a world-class, FIA-approved kart built to compete at the highest level of international karting. This ensures that our drivers will be racing with equipment that meets the same standards used across the world’s top championships.

At Karting Africa, we also understand the challenges African drivers face when trying to reach Europe to compete at the highest level. Travel, costs, and lack of support have made the journey extremely difficult.

We made a plan

Alongside the Karting Africa Series, which will be launching soon and is set to blow the minds of drivers across the continent, we have also established a proudly African team and home base in Europe.

Our European base will feature state-of-the-art equipment, race karts, professional workshops, and full technical support, developed alongside our partners at TB Kart. This facility will provide African drivers with the same professional environment used by the world’s top karting teams.

This base will allow African drivers to come to Europe in a structured and cost-effective way, giving them the opportunity to measure themselves against the best drivers in the world — while being supported by a team that understands their journey.

Supporting this initiative is Worr Motorsport, which provides the knowledge, experience, and racing infrastructure to guide and support this incredible project. With years of international motorsport experience, Worr Motorsport will ensure that African drivers entering this program are properly prepared, supported, and developed as they progress through the ranks.

For the first time, African drivers will have a true home in Europe.

Next month will mark an exciting milestone for Karting Africa, as the first two drivers take the wheel of the Karting Africa karts: Radhi Harris and Lulama Ngobeni. Two talented drivers who will help lead the beginning of this new era.

This is more than a project.

This is a movement to build a true motorsport pathway for Africa.

And if you are a driver from Africa who feels lost, unsure where to go, or looking for the right guidance for your karting future — Karting Africa is here to support you. As Karting Africa founder Wesleigh Orr says: “We are here to look after the drivers from our continent. For too long, the system hasn’t worked for African talent. We cannot compare our currencies with those of the rest of the world, and that has made it even harder for our drivers to compete internationally. That is why we needed an African team — people who truly understand what our drivers need. Karting Africa is about fixing what has been broken and giving our drivers the very best chance to succeed on the world stage. And I will make sure it happens.”

The future of African motorsport is coming.

Welcome to Karting Africa.
