This past weekend the academy race was an epic encounter of adrenaline and speed while learning through competition. The Academy Seniors were joined by the legendary Troy Snyman as he was taking back some of his form. The return of the legend was a show of class and experience.

Troy joined the academy race to prepare to rejoin the grid after a year of absence with very little track time. Disappointed by the cancellation of the iDube Nationals he brought his experience to the academy in a show that was meant as a teachable moment. As part of the team and racing in Academy Troy was evaluated along with the other drivers.

The first report to come out of the Academy race reads: Great, Great and Great with only defensive driving as anything but. This was only due to the instructions he was given repeatedly by Coach Wes to not give it his all. With additional weights, smaller sprocket and more, he kept the front runners on their toes in the dramatic way only he can achieve.

Our Academy drivers enjoyed the show and the challenge with Troy also proving his pedigree against some of the best, most gifted and highly talented drivers in Worr Motorsports. A great learning experience all round.
