Introducing Worr Motorsport a South African Karting Team, driven by a bold mission: to nurture and train the next generation of African racing talent.
Our focus is on empowering African drivers with the skills, discipline, and support needed to compete on the global stage. We have one ambitious goal—to produce an African Formula 1 driver. Through rigorous training, top-tier equipment, and a passion for excellence, we are paving the way for African drivers to leave their mark in the world of motorsport.
Our team is driven by three ambitious leaders: Wesleigh Orr, the visionary founder overseeing our international division; Hugh Orr, who spearheads our operations in Western Cape; and Neo Phasha, our Academy trainer. Together, they bring expertise, passion, and a shared commitment to fostering the next generation of karting talent in Africa.

Wesleigh Orr, our karting legend from South Africa with four world final victories under his helmet, kicked off his epic karting career at just seven years old. He has a whopping four World Karting titles, two European Karting Championships and nine South African Karting Championships, to flaunt.
He received his junior and senior South African Protea colours as well as being named the most successful Rotax Karting driver between 2006 and 2012 and won his first World Champion title at the young age of 14.
Wesleigh has revved up the engines on bigger race circuits like Formula VW, Formula Renault and represented South Africa in the A1GP circuit.
Bringing 28 years of motorsport experience and a wide variety of motorsport knowledge to the team, Wesleigh brings a passion and dedication for the sport like no other. His mission is crystal clear: to rocket his drivers to the top of the podium, and help them become the champions of their competition.
Karting Career
Wesleigh started racing at the age of 7 and his journey has been nothing short of spectacular.

Championship
In 2005 he took part in the European Championship and was sponsored by PCR factory. After some competitive racing against the best drivers in the class from all around the world he won the Italian Championship.
A1GP Series
In 2008 he was chosen to represent South Africa in the A1GP Series and drove for the team run by Tokeyo Sekwale.
Team WORR
Our team is dedicated to teaching kids the fundamentals of racing, from basic kart control to advanced driving techniques. With a focus on safety, sportsmanship, and skill development, we provide a nurturing environment where young racers can pursue their dreams of reaching Formula 1.
Our experienced instructors, kart coaches, top-notch facilities, and comprehensive training programs ensure that every child receives the guidance and support they need to excel in motorsports. Join us at Worr Motorsport, where future champions begin their journey.
