The Junior shares with its “big brothers” the same quality of components as well as the technical contributions brought by TBKART Racing Team in the development stages of the project. Furthermore, the 950 mm wheelbase makes it particularly agile, responsive and suitable for all variants in the MINI categories. The Junior has followed the performance evolution recorded over the years by the MINI category itself, proving to be the perfect kart to take younger drivers from their first steps on the track to their very first victory.
Brakes
In a category which, on some tracks, records speeds exceeding 100 km/h, the Junior stands out for a braking system calibrated for the power involved and which is based on the same manufacturing concepts of the “upper level” models’ braking systems:
- Caliper and master cylinder machined from a solid block
- Self-ventilated cast iron disc, 160 mm in diameter
- Master cylinder with stroke recovery
- Brake caliper with radial attachment
