A radiator flap for a kart is an adjustable panel used to control how much air flows through the radiator. By opening or closing the flap, it helps manage engine temperature to suit changing track and weather conditions. When the flap is open, more air passes through the radiator for maximum cooling during hot or high-load racing. When it is closed or partially closed, airflow is reduced to help the engine reach and maintain its ideal operating temperature in cooler conditions or during warm-up.
