Coach Wes has a tough decision to make as to who will Drive the first Worr MSA4 cars. The logical choice would be to promote from the OKN category. With a strong lineup of excellent drivers it’s not an easy decision to make. So who would be a front runner to drive for team Worr MSA4? In this opinion piece we share the choices the coach has and explore further about the possible drivers that could fill the seat.

Gianna the Phenom

The Worr Female Driver phenomenon Gianna Pascoal, who is racking up points nationally and competing at the highest levels of karting regularly is a possible candidate. She recently qualified P4 at the FIA academy round then came home to win 3 for 3 in OKN at iDube Raceway. With a stellar resume, Gianna is top of everyone’s list but not that of coach Wes who wants her focussed on the F1 Academy seat. She is closing in on it as one of the best female drivers on circuit right now.

Other dominant drivers with experience, accolades and spectacular race craft are William Marshall, Troy Snyman and Jesse Swart. Marshall burst onto the scene displaying something coach Wes says, “You can’t teach, he just has it.” Troy came out of a long break to display similar skills and a deeper understanding of racing while Jesse is a stable, competitive driver that has the potential to adapt well to single seaters.

Who would Gianna Choose?

With the potential still there to drive for Team Worr we asked Gianna about the developments, and she said “I think the MSA4 team is evolving, and I think this is an amazing opportunity not only for me but for all drivers in Worr. I feel it helps us drivers to relax about our futures”. These sentiments shared by many of the drivers.

Gianna also shared her top picks if she was totally out of the running. She backed her teammates Troy and Jesse saying “If I had to choose some drivers that I think would do really well in the MSA4 team I would say Jesse Swart and Troy Snyman. I think they would do really well because of their experiences and learning abilities, Jesse and Troy both adapt to different environments really quickly so I think this will be a great opportunity.”

As we continue to wait for Coach Wes to give us his final decision we look forward to more exciting clashes from the strong OKN category. We also look forward to seeing what the lesser experienced drivers could put on the table to earn an MSA4 drive.
